Dr. Weiss has received highly specialized university fellowship training in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Weiss is a good choice for the Medical Director of Weiss Cosmetic & Laser Procedures. He has been using medical lasers since 1980 and has performed many procedures at the Beckman Laser Institute & Medical Clinic while on the faculty at the University of California at Irvine as well as other regional laser centers. Pigment removal lasers

  • Laseaway Ruby (694nm) - lentigines, nevus of Ota, tattoos, (better for lentigines in darker skin, less chance of depigmentation)
  • Alexandrite (755nm) - tattoos, especially yellow and green
  • Q-switched 532nm- red tattoos
  • Nd:YAG 1064nm - tattoos (not green or yellow)
